PREPARATION OF THE PND 2021-2025: THE MINISTRY OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT INITIATES A MAJOR CONFERENCE

As part of the development of the National Development Plan 2021-2025, the Ministry of Planning and Development with the technical support of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), is organizing the planning conference on Thursday July 23, 2020, in Abidjan-Plateau.

Placed under the chairmanship of Mrs. Nialé KABA, Minister of Planning and Development, this important conference will mainly aim to present the major conclusions of the strategic diagnosis as well as the proposed pillars of the National Development Program 2021-2025.

More specifically, it will present the results of the review of the multidimensional examination of the organization of economic cooperation and development, the development challenges based on the achievements of the implementation of the PND 2016-2020, and finally define the pillars and future strategic orientations of the PND 2021-2025, will mark the outcome of this important ceremony.

As a reminder, the planning policies implemented by the Ivorian authorities have made it possible to design, organize and animate economic, social and cultural development which integrated important policies to combat regional disparities through regional development programs.

This planning conference will bring together several participants, including institutions of the republic, technical ministries, development partners, academia and civil society.
